Second order aesthetics. A new approach to contextualism: 

First order observation excludes the context and the viewer from the observed object. Second order observation includes both with the object. Also the participating observer must either observe the object or observe its interactions (cross the boundary). 

The orders are mutually exclusive of one another locally (at an observational level) while also complementary to one another like two faces of a same coin. 

An Object exists in a field of reciprocal causal relations with its correlative context. The art is in the explications of its implications, in what it does and make us do. If <=> then. 

The context is the 4th dimension (virtual) of the object in first order observation.
